The JFT-Basic (Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese) is a standardized Japanese language test designed specifically to evaluate whether you have reached a level where you can manage everyday conversations to a certain extent and handle daily life without difficulties. It serves as official proof of Japanese language proficiency for the Specific Skilled Worker (SSW) visa application process – the primary SSW Japanese language test accepted by Japanese immigration.
