Gogaku is a specialized online Japanese learning platform founded by Japanese language educator Anup Sensei (Anup Subedi).

What began as a small Japanese language institute in Pokhara has evolved into a growing online learning ecosystem serving students across Nepal and beyond.
Whether a student lives in Pokhara, Kathmandu, a remote village in Nepal, or even outside Nepal, they can now learn directly from Anup Sensei through online classes, mock tests, and learning tools.
👨🏫 The Story of Anup Sensei
Gogaku was founded by Anup Subedi, widely known as Anup Sensei.His journey began as a student from Nepal who traveled to Japan to pursue higher education and gain international experience.
During his years in Japan, he:
- Studied at Shinjuku Heiwa Japanese Language School in Tokyo
- Continued professional studies at Suruga Gaigo & Business Senmon Gakko
- Worked in various industries while studying
- Experienced Japanese language, culture, education, and daily life firsthand
After returning to Nepal, he dedicated himself to teaching Japanese language and culture.
Over the years, he taught thousands of students and continuously refined his teaching methods to help learners achieve better results in less time.
His practical approach, real-life Japan experience, and student-centered teaching style helped him earn the trust of learners from across Nepal.
Today, he has guided more than 5,000 students and helped thousands of learners prepare for JFT-Basic and JLPT examinations.

Gogaku Language & Training Center Pvt. Ltd. was established in March 2023.
The vision behind Gogaku was clear: To create a Japanese language institution built on quality education, practical learning, and real Japan experience.
At a time when many students were searching for reliable guidance regarding Japan, Gogaku focused on providing accurate information, strong language foundations, and realistic preparation for life in Japan.
Students appreciated the practical teaching style, exam-focused preparation, and direct guidance from someone who had personally studied and worked in Japan.
As a result, Gogaku rapidly grew into one of the most recognized Japan-focused educational brands in Pokhara.

This decision allows us to focus entirely on teaching, educational innovation, learning technology, and student success.
