Seminar Participation
Participation in the Japanese Language Teachers' Seminar 2026
On 25 July 2026, Anup Sensei participated in the
Japanese Language Teachers' Seminar held at
Alfa Beta Complex, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
The seminar was organized by the
Japanese Language Teachers' Association Nepal (JALTAN) with the generous
support of The Japan Foundation, New Delhi.
The training was conducted by
Ms. Keiko Yoshikawa of The Japan Foundation, New Delhi, who shared
valuable teaching strategies, classroom techniques, and practical ideas for improving
Japanese language education.
The seminar included professional discussions, collaborative activities, and opportunities
for Japanese language teachers from across Nepal to exchange their experiences.
For Anup Sensei, this was not simply an event—it was another opportunity to improve
his teaching methods and bring better learning experiences to his students.
Professional Growth
Learning, Sharing and Growing as a Japanese Language Teacher
A good teacher never stops learning.
Japanese language education continues to develop, and teachers must regularly update
their methods to meet the changing needs of students. Participating in professional
seminars allows teachers to evaluate their current approach, learn new classroom
strategies, and discover more effective ways to explain difficult topics.
The JALTAN Teachers' Seminar provided Anup Sensei with an opportunity to learn directly
from an experienced Japan Foundation instructor while also exchanging ideas with fellow
Japanese language teachers from across Nepal.
The discussions and group activities focused on making Japanese lessons more practical,
interactive, and learner-centred. These ideas are especially valuable when teaching
students with different goals, learning speeds, and language backgrounds.

Pokhara, Nepal.
He has studied and gained practical experience in Japan, giving him an understanding of
both textbook Japanese and the language used in real Japanese society.

Practical classroom instruction
Examination-focused preparation
Clear explanations for Nepali learners
Regular practice and mock tests

ability, and continued professional training has made him a trusted Japanese
language teacher in Pokhara and across Nepal.
For students looking for the best Japanese language teacher in Nepal, Anup Sensei stands
out as a strong choice because he continues to develop his own knowledge while remaining
focused on his students' progress.
Student Impact
Why Professional Teacher Training Benefits Students
A teacher-training seminar may be attended by instructors, but its greatest benefits
eventually reach their students.
Professional development helps teachers:
Explain difficult grammar more clearly
Design more engaging classroom activities
Understand different learning needs
Encourage students to communicate in Japanese
Identify and correct common mistakes
Improve lesson planning and classroom management
Balance language knowledge with practical usage
Prepare students more effectively for examinations
Anup Sensei plans to apply the knowledge and teaching strategies gained from this seminar
in his classes at Gogaku Language & Training Center.
This will help make Gogaku's lessons more interactive, practical, and focused on the
real needs of Japanese language learners.

and workers living in Japan.
Ongoing Dedication
A Continued Commitment to Better Japanese Education
Anup Sensei's participation in the Japanese Language Teachers' Seminar 2026 reflects his
commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications are important, but a dedicated teacher must also continue improving how
those skills and knowledge are delivered to students.
By attending teacher-training programs, exchanging experiences with other educators, and
learning updated teaching techniques, Anup Sensei continues working toward a clear goal:
providing practical, effective, and result-oriented Japanese language education.
